Photo Project ‘Space’ Documents Queer People in Their Safe Spaces (NSFW)

With the oppression and discrimination they face, queer people tend to create a safe environment in their rooms with a characteristic that can reflect their relationship with society. “Space” is an ongoing project created by photographer Sam Youssef in his @bold_frames framework where queer people from a range of locations, including Berlin, allow him to photograph them in their safe spaces. The result is incredibly raw, beautiful, and heartfelt.

Welcome to an intimate insight into the lives of various human beings. This is their safe space.

  1. Outstanding work, amazing photos, and incredibly real, I feel like I’m in the 60’s when I see this collection of photos
