At an intimate theatre space in the Slipper Room Eric Schlösberg presented his SS17 collection for NYFW – an alternative performance reminiscent to a bad-ass beauty pageant. Models strutted onto the stage to Hole’s ‘Celebrity Skin’, blowing the audience cheeky kisses and pulling their winning poses.

In a high energy show that would’ve given the most glamorous drag queens diva envy, Eric Schlösberg’s pieces reflected the wardrobe of the true modern IT babe – a style chameleon. 70’s disco vibes met nonchalant punk, with thigh high patent leather boots, flared silhouettes and dazzling metallics. Larger-than-life hair, heavily accentuated make-up and glittering accessories were vital accessories for these true performers.

This was one presentation that was not only addictive to watch, it was interactive and inclusive. Who wants to be a spectator, when you can be part of the party?
